Yunnan Province in China

Yunnan (simplified Chinese: 云南; traditional Chinese: 雲南;  listen (info • help)) is a province in southwest province of the People's Republic of China. The area of Yunnan Province is 394,100 km² (152,200 sq mi). It spans approximately 394,000 square kilometres (152,000 sq mi) and has a population of 45.7 million (2009). The capital of the province is Kunming. The province borders Vietnam, Laos and Burma.
