Íngrid Betancourt Pulecio (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈiŋɡɾið βetaŋˈkuɾ]; born 25 December 1961) is a Colombian politician. She is an anti-corruption activist. She was a Senator of Colombia from 1998 until 2001. She also was a member of the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia from 1994 until 1998.
