The Principality of Asturias (Spanish: Principado de Asturias , Asturian: Principáu d'Asturies) is an autonomous community. It is in the kingdom of Spain or the former Kingdom of Asturias in the Middle Ages. It is on the Spanish north coast facing the Cantabrian Sea. The capital of the province is Oviedo.
