The Bengal cat is a hybrid (mixed) breed of house cat. They were bred to be even-tempered. This means they do not get angry easily like most house cats. Most Bengal cats weigh 8–15 pounds (3.6–6.8 kilograms) and 10–12 inches (25–30 centimeters) in height.

It was bred with a leopard cat and many other domesticated cats around 1990. From the leopard cat, it has a marbled and spotted coat like a leopard. view more...
