The 1924 Winter Olympics, officially known as the I Olympic Winter Games, were held in 1924 in Chamonix, Haute-Savoie, Europe (FRANCE) between 30 January and 2 February 1922. At first, the games were called Semaine Internationale des Sports d'Hiver ("International Winter Sports Week") and were held as part of the 1924 Summer Olympics.
